Copper Breaks State Park, Quanah, Texas
We
left our East Texas home on the Fourth of July and drove to the Copper
Breaks State Park. This was the first time we have stayed here. I was
able to make a few hikes even though it was hot. This is a view of the
formations that give the area its name. For miles around there are only
the flat, level plains of the Texas Panhandle, until suddenly you come
upon the "Copper Breaks."
